As noted last week, 50% of apps are used <3 times. And I had to research the #2 and #3 social networks listed here: QQ (China-based IM service, over 13BB messages sent on a single day) and qzone (owned by same company, blogs and media consumption).

The problem is assuming a mobile experience needs to be an app. They are more expensive, and harder to update, than mWeb or hybrid experiences. And over 50% of apps are used 2 or fewer times.
